IT’S ABOUT LEARNING:  The February 2017 Budget Edition of It's About Learning is now available.  It may be viewed and printed HERE.  A printed version of this publication can be obtained by contacting Lamoille South Supervisory Union at 888-4541.

VERMONT WRITES DAY!  PAML students will join all Vermont schools on this day to spend seven minutes of their day writing about any topic of interest to them.  Faculty, staff and families are encouraged to join in as well!  

SKATELAND REMINDER!  Students interested in attending the Skateland field trip on Friday, February 10th, need to bring in $5 and their signed permission slip no later than February 8th to hold their spot.

A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE FIELD TRIP:  On Thursday, February 9th, Jeff Boudreau, PAML’s Climate Coordinator, will take a group of 7th/8th grade students to Johnson State College.  Our PAML students will present to a college class how the AWOD program works in our school.  Students will depart PAML by bus at 12:40pm and return at 2:40pm.  

PLEASE NOTE!  Winter Recess was inaccurately noted on the ‘PAML February Calendar of Events’ sent home with students last week.  The correct dates are Monday, February 27th - Wednesday, March 8th.

WINOOSKI VALLEY COLLABORATIVE 2017-2018 LOTTERY FOR PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL CHOICE:   Applications are now available for students who will be in grades 9-12 next school year on the Stowe High School and Peoples Academy websites. Go to:  or   At the top of the page click on ‘Our Schools,’ click on ‘Stowe High or PA,’ and, at the top of the this page click on ‘For Parents’ then click on ‘School Choice’ for information and the application.  If your student is interested in attending a high school outside of the district next year, please return the completed application to your student's guidance office by February 24, 2017.

Community Breakfast for the PA Dance Team: Don’t forget to plan on attending the delicious breakfast being hosted by the PA Dance Team on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in the PA Cafeteria from 8:00 - 11:30. Children under 12 eat free!
