Upper House science students created unique and professional picture books to show their mastery of understanding about climate change. Students explored themes that included:
- Individual Responsibility - what can an individual do to make a difference?
- Community Responsibility - what can a community do to make a difference?
- Interdependence - loss of habitat, cause and effect, how things/people are connected
- Justice & Equity Around the World
Along with clever, original narratives, the picture books included science facts and diagrams to teach readers about climate change. Students will be sharing their final books with 5th & 6th graders.
